Panasia Marine was formed in 1996 as a brokerage focused on the intra regional liquid
markets within Asia/Pacific for Spot, Contract of Affreightment and Time-charter
requirements.
Panasia Marine is a three-way joint-venture between
Sound Tanker Chartering of Westport, USA,
Aries Shipbroking of Singapore and the
Ahrenkiel Group of Hamburg, Germany. Together, we create
a unique network, spanning three continents and bringing together an unrivalled
combination of skills and experience. A shared philosophy of customer focus enables
us to tailor our services to regional requirements and culture, while offering a
truly global overview to multi-national corporations.
Panasia Marine has grown steadily and today handles close to 7.5 million tons across
a diverse range of products. This diversity is key in today's complex freight markets,
where variances in one sector will draw or release tonnage to another and we have
consistently been able to provide our customers with flexible and competitive bulk
shipping solutions.

Panasia Marine was the first international broking house to have successfully negotiated
two Contracts of Affreightment for Chinese domestic bulk chemical shipments and
Panasia Marine Tankers Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., a Wholly
Foreign Owned Enterprise, was established in Jan., 2005, offering shipbroking and
protective agency services in China. To broaden our regional cover we opened a
Korea Office in Feb., 2006, and have in the meantime extended our services
to the Middle East with an office in the Sultanate of Oman, established
in Jul., 2007.
